About Bavaria, Franconia, the Fichtelgebirge (and the whole rest)

In this part of our website we want to give you some information about Bavaria, Franconia and the Fichtelgebirge mountain range where our scout district is located. Of course we added some pictures of the countryside and you might already have heard from some famous places. We also would like to tell you about Bavarian (and Franconian) customs and give you an insight in some traditions. You soon will learn that there are differences between Franconia and Bavaria and that the famous Oktoberfest is not the only thing that made Bavaria famous.
